Cap Quest

Hello, I posted on here last week regarding Cap Quest Recovery. I received 2 letters from them on Saturday. One came from Fleet and one came from Bristol. These addresses were on the back of the envelopes, but both letters had Fleets address at the bottom. One letter is a Income and Expenditure form and the other is confirming acceptance of our offer to repay the £27.21 per month. We have never offered them anything as we have been paying £2.50 to Graham White & Co for the last 10 years. They say they bought the debt from American Express. Do we keep ignoring them and we also had a letter from Aktiv Kapital (UK) Ltd saying that they will be sending round someone to collect a debt of £376. This debt is at least 8 years old and it was originally Allied Carpets Group who we owed the money to. We have not payed anything in all this time, and what do we do if they come round. My husband lost his business 10 years ago thats why we have these debts.

Thanks Rog2 for your helpful advice. I shall use these letters and i will let you know how i get on. I do worry myself sick over these letters so its nice to be able to come on here and speak to other people who know how I feel. Hopefully i can get this sorted out as i get fed up with all the letters.

Capquest are generally known as 'Crapquest' on these forums, so that may tell you all you need to know about them.

I have a habit of addressing them as crapquest on the rare occasions the dare to phone.
