No check in report?

I didn't want to have to create a new thread, but I really need some help here please
I am unsure whether we got a check in report with our rental property.
We have a schedule of inventory and condition which is not signed and has a few photos, but none of the inside of the house, just outside. We also have the AST tenancy agreement which we all signed.
We collected the keys from the letting agent and then went off to the property ourselves.
Any ideas what the check in report would look like?
I am putting together a dispute so would like to be in possession of all facts.

In the absence of anything else, I would interpret that as the "check-in report". Is it not signed by anyone at all?
If so it's barely worth the paper it's printed on since it bears no confirmation as to its accuracy at the time you moved in, which is the purpose of dated signatures.
Without a document signed by you, agreeing the condition at the time your tenancy commenced, the landlord will have difficulty proving any change in condition between that time and when you moved out. That's in your favour.0 -
Hi, what's your dispute about? - the inventory is usually the most critical bit of any "check in" process. Not sure on how long ago this was but did you check the inventory at the time you took over the property, and was it accurate?0

Your inventory is the check in report, if it does not detail the condition of the decor and carpets they cannot claim against you for damaging these. Not being signed puts the landlord at a disadvantage but equally if it is not accurate you should have written to the landlord at the time.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Dispute still waiting to be processed by TDS

No, nothing signed on inventory. The only thing we and they signed was the tenancy agreement.
A lot of the 'concerns' the agent wrote on the 'check out report type thing' (again, not signed, just emailed over) were on the original inventory anyway. He said he went round with it when doing the checkout, but it seems he couldn't read the report properly.
We firmly believe the agent/LL are trying to get us to pay for betterment of the property as its for sale.
Also have heard several other people's experiences who have let off these agents and exactly the same thing.
Hopefully TDS will get my documents processed soon, they received them last week. It is now approaching a month since we handed keys back and landlord been back living there two days under this.0 -

No, I think that is genuine. However they did give us reassurance when our original AST was up to say he had no plans to come back for foreseeable future, yet less than 4 months later he has to have house back and wants to put it up for sale. So we didn't sign another AST so just got 2 months notice, which was a hell of a push when buying our own house.
I think he may have split with wife or something. Makes us wonder if he's extra bitter. However I think he's a perfect match for the LA who once told someone at checkout that they should have taken the top off a palm as it had grown 2 ft since he lived there... Which would have caused the tree to die.0
