But why do you assume that you'll still only be working part time and claiming HB next year?

My daughter Is in full time education therefore mine is the only income,if I work more hrs my rent will go up accordingly so no point in that,my question is will the council let me move with the outstanding debt and carry on paying it off, as I only have 5 to 6 wks to pay it off or lose the house that I want .

Could you not suggest to the HA you owe the money to that you would pay more than the £5 because your rent will be cheaper and you will have extra money to pay off quicker.

But I'm not asking for help on a forum and you are.

Getting more hours and coming off benefits will help you in a couple of years time when you're no longer eligible for child related benefits and will have to work at least 30 hours to be eligible for WTC.
