Iphone problem

I did the update on my Iphone 4s last week since then I've not been able to play music on my Iphone in the car when I connect it, it says device not recognised or something like that.

Does my car need updating too or is there something I have to do with my phone??

I had the same problem a few years back when I updated the software on my iPod touch.
Up to then it had worked fine in my Vauxhall Insignia but following the update the car stereo wouldn't recognise the iPod.
I read on the net that the car needed to go to the garage for a software update to fix the problem.

I recently updated the software and lost a few of my settings.
Have a look in settings and re set the ones that are missing.

Must be insignia's because I have one too! I'll book it into the garage what a pain in the backside!

I'll check the settings on my phone too while I'm at it

Give your local garage a ring and ask them. They should be able to tell you over the phone if there is an update available!
