Quite a few years ago I bought some shares in Tandem Group PLC.Recently I've been pestered by Elkin & Associates IIC to sell them. I'd forgotten all about them and have no idea how much they're worth or if this is a genuine, above board company. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.Thanks.

It's a very common scam. Nobody genuine calls you out of the blue to pay over the odds for your old shares. Sooner or later an upfront payment will be required, then another. They will never actually buy them.
