We were going to have roast lamb tonight but we've invited OH's mum over, so now we're having pork as the joint is bigger.
Despite the mealplanning we've still managed to spend £112 this week (that's including adding on £6.50 for the pork which we bought from the farmer's market the other week). But I have bought stuff to take lunch into work this week. Our weekly spend was averaging £120 and that excluded lunches for work. So, we are slowly improving our spending. Also, we haven't had a takeaway / meal out for dinner for over 2 weeks now, which was also on top of the £120. I know we could still cut back even more, but at least we've made a start.0 -
