Anyone got one of these ?
- is the divx incompatibility likely to be an issue in the future and is it something that could be rectified by a firmware flash ?
- is it quiet ?
- it can definitely record from sky/cable yeah ?
- if I have another freeview box, I will be able to record (on the Panasonic built in tuner) one freeview channel whilst watching another (on the other freeview box) ?
Thanks,

I have the DMREZ25 which is basically the same machine without the hard drive. I'm really pleased with it. It seems very quiet to me, although mine is in a cabinet behind a glass door. There is a small cooling fan on the back but I don't notice it. The seek activity when the DVD is moving from the menu to a chapter is breifly audible. I obviously cannot vouch for the noise level of the HDD.
The UK versions of neither model support DivX unfortunately, but the European models do. That suggests that a firmware flash could sort it, but I wouldn't bet on it happening. It's not a big deal to me.
I believe it can record Sky via SCART (I haven't tried yet, only got mine on Saturday) but I'll check tonight. I'm pretty sure it can as the box certainly passes through the Sky output to TV. I don't have cable.
Yes, you can watch Freeview on another box whilst using the Panny to record. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
