We always recommend Acer website, but Tesco sell Acer notebooks and it saves you paying delivery charges if you can walk into a Tesco and buy the same thing.

We havent heard any bad reports from customers. We run a pc repair/service shop.

Sorry, which Acer site ? there seems to be a few !

It's listed on the Tesco site, but is always out of stock (the 5633 with 120 gig hd, 1 gig mem and Geforce 7300 graphics). The 2 sites above have it listed at 520ish where as all the others I can find have it at cose to 700..

well irrelevant of which site to buy on I'd say don't get an Acer laptop as the build quality is generally poor.

if you looked at the other 21 results you would have seen that the reviews were either good or excellent ,
i have recently purchased an acer laptop for my daughter from laptops direct , she decided that she wanted one for her b/day 3 days before the big day
i ordered it on the on the wed and it arrived on the friday , this included a memory upgrade , the build quality seem ok to me for the price

I've seen a lot of people knocking the build quality of Acer's and I don't know why ? I've got a 5003 and I'm happy with it, I was giving to my daughter and getting another (with better graphics).

I did look at the other reviews but was put off by the poor one at the start, but if you've used them and not had a problem I'll give them a go, Thanks...

I just might be overly suspicious here, but has anyone else noticed that the customer reviews all tend to be dated in batches ? This maybe the way that Kelkoo process them, but it dose look a little strange ?
