Fairzo - please can you tell me why you wouldn't go to First Utility? I'm considering switching to them from Eon as they seem to have the cheapest daily charge and unit charge - but I don't know what is so terrible about them.....?

Your thoughts would be most appreciated - thanks!

I think you have the response from others - but numerous problems reported on this forum regarding service, or lack of it, and credit balance return issues.

Which supplier exactly have you eventually chosen then; one which presumably has not had numerous problems reported on this forum about?

I think I read Fairzo elected to stay with Ovo for another year.

    If so,...

Well spotted. Good luck with finding any supplier that there hasn't been a complaint about!

The sooner you change the better, nPower's Online 23 tariff expire’s on 6/11/2012 and changes to Go Save S tariff on 7/11. Rates go up on Go Save S tariff on 26/11. I changed to Ovo Energy on 16/10 and received my welcome pack this morning 22/10. I phoned nPower and the system has been updated and I remain on nPower's Online 23 until the transfer is complete. No early exit fee payable.
Duel Fuel £40.00 cashback, received email confirmation from Simplyswitch and 9 minutes later email from Money Expert.com confirming my £40.00 cashback in approx 90 days. First Utility was slightly less but you have to have a new smart meter fitted.
