Free 1year Life Insurance for New Parents - Tesco Mother and Baby Club

Hi,
I recently registered with TESCO's Mother and Baby Club and also registered with their Mum's Choice website, which I have found is an excellent tool for new parents.
I have been lucky to have been selected to test some baby products free of charge through them and got to keep the remaining products, which is a bonus!
Anyway, I noticed that they are offering 1 Year Free Life Insurance for new parents and have just signed up....Anyone who has signed up to this able to give me some feedback.
Is it too good to be true?

Not too good to be true.... its very low cover (£10,000), given you've just had a baby you're likely in OK health, under 45 and the value of data for people who have an interest in Life (or other protection insurances) is very high - naturally there will be exceptions..... I remember one brokerage was willing to pay £35 per lead for hot leads like this and I doubt the value of the policy is even that.0
