Might be worth opening a shop just for Christmas...off to do some sums...They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Might be worth opening a shop just for Christmas...off to do some sums...
I had been thinking of doing just that but I am in a bit of a catch 22 situation though. I have had a good year on eBay which means I have a number of holidays booked this year in the run up to Christmas. However, due to those holidays I have to be careful to stop listing before I go in case of non payers.
However, doing a bit of research it looks like I can set up a shop but actually hide my GTC listings so that people can't buy while I am away ( I need to check that though in case I have misunderstood)? That means I could use these free listings next week, load my shop but hide it for my holidays. I could close the shop before Christmas after hopefully clearing some stock
