PC question internet search

right on my homepage to my internet (msn) if i type something in the search box it comes up with a list of all the things i have ever searched does anyone know how i delete them so the dont show up
(getting a surpise prezzy for my O/H and i dont want him to see ive been shopping around for it ,will spoil the surprise )

    Use the mouse or up/down arrow keys to highlight an item and press the Delete key. Repeat as required.

    ok
    I dont usually use msn but
    at the top where it says favourites
    click on the favourites
    then click on organise my favourites
    you can delete what you want from here,
    hope this helps
    if not get back to me and I will try and see what to do next
