Central heating thermostat question

Dear all,
the house we have moved to has an old 'dial' thermostat, we would rather an up to date digital one, can this be changed easily enough by a lay person?
Also a rad that is at the end of the line, isn't warming. We have bleed them all, but all there any other checks we can do before calling someone out?

See this thread here re changing your old stat.
If it makes sense to you, then yes you could easily change the stat yourself.
Your system may need balancing to ensure that heat gets to the last rad on the run or it could be sludged up. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
