urgent info needed regarding indicators stopped working
My OH has a L200 (1999 Four Life) which has suddenly lost its indicators and horn (again). The AA fixed the horn, but were unable to get the indicators working, saying it would take too long to trace the wiring!! The patrol man reckons there is a problem with an old aftermarket alarm system (this was in, but not working when he purchased the vehicle) and advised to trace the wires and to remove the said alarm completely.
What would be the best way to attempt to do this as there is no Haynes manual for this vehicle and I cannot find any wiring diagrams to help me.
He would be really grateful for any constructive replies, he already knows about taking it to the garage but they have indicated that this wold prove to be costly for them to do, so obviously if it can be done himself, he would rather.
Thanks in advance

If he is unable to literally visually trace the wiring of this dodgy alarm system, and doesn't want to risk a big electric shock, I don't see any alternative to taking it to an auto electrician. If you know the model of the alarm you might be able to find a (installation) manual online which may help with removal.
These alarms are usually hidden away and difficult to remove, to prevent theft!0 -

Try Google - it took me all of 25 seconds to find a wiring diagram for a 1999 L2000 -

Instead of trying to be smart you could have tried to be helpful and provided a link for the OP.
I can't find one either, but https://www.l200.org.uk - the owners club can probably help and may even know if this is a common problem unrelated to the alarm.0 -
Do you have a fob or a booklet for the alarm? If you are not handy (decent alarms tend to be all black wire and no sense) once you have the make, phone around your local car audio/alarm installers and get a quote for taking the thing out. Worse case scenario is one of these guys taking an hour to de-install a home installed version with taped up or rusty scotchlocked joints.0

Thank you.
However, if we had found it ourselves on Google, I would not have posted on here asking on behalf of my OH for a diagram, and we still havent found it.
