6 weeks contents insurance help

I'm moving out of a shared house, where I currently have a contents insurance policy.

The policy runs out on the 29th Oct, but I'm moving out to my own place on the 1st December, therefore need contents insurance for about 5-6 weeks.

I can only find policies for 3 months? As I'm going from shared to my own place I can't just change the address.

Any help would be appreciated

You would be able to go from shared to your own place with a mid term adjustment - the problem will be with such very different circumstances the insurer that is cheap for one is possibly not going to be cheap for the other.

Some insurers have low/ no cancellation fees and so that is another option (as long as you dont have to claim)
