Do I just quit?

    Little stanger, I would not recommend quitting without having ajob to go to. I did just that and now I regret it like crazy

  • Surprised Uncertain hasn't been on yet but I shall fill in as best as possible.

    Whilst you are off sick you are getting sick pay, you are also earning holiday pay so often there is very little benefit in you resigning and it is much better to make the employer make the moves whilst you are unable to return to work.

    Also, on another side remember that this worry is most likley just a symptom and lots of people will have felt like you but alot of them will have returned to work and been thankful for doing that than quitting.

    Its not going to be easy that first day or two and yes it maybe like starting again but it will only take a few days for things to slot back to normal.

    Think very carefully about resigning unless u have somewhere else to goto.

    Also, if you really want to go part time then talk to the dr and see if he can write on the next fit note that part time work maybe a benefit. At the end of the day the company can only say no.
