On saturday i applied for the fixed till April 2014 tariff which was working out as a good deal for us. Received an email with agreement number and link to personal swicthing page to find that they have put me down for the Nov 2014 fixed deal which is a much higher rate. Be careful before you click through as there could be cheaper deals available.

Too late to call them tonight and cant email them as i dont have an account number only an agreement number.

I'd suggest you simply give them a call in the morrow.

I remember when I moved to SP some time ago, (actually I was just moving the gas as they already had the electric but on a different tariff) there was an issue similar to which you describe, but a simple phone call soon sorted everything out.

Well I say "soon", but what they said is that they couldn't actually sort it out until the gas had fully switched and then they would sort it all out, backdated as necessary. In the meantime, they would put a note on the account that this is what was agreed.

    All sorted ... eventually :)
