Want to be made redundant for good pay in return

I work for BIG company in London for last 6 years. I am getting bored of the same work now. Instead of me leaving the company and take time off how can I get my company to make me redundant and pay me off.

Any way to get that.

If you are unhappy in your work I suggest you find alternative employment. There will be hundreds of suitable applicants particularly the unemployed who would be delighted to replace you. They just want to earn a living!

If you've only worked for them for 6 years you could come out with a redundancy payment only equal to six weeks pay anyway. Take Gees' advice;)

Thanks Valli. So looks like finding an alternative is a better option than waiting for redundancy opportunity.
