How to find the best deal in a new property

Newbie here :-)
I've just sold my house and am moving into temporary accommodation until I find something to buy. When I do buy, how can I find out who would be the best supplier, since I won't have a history in the property?

You'll need to register with the existing supplier(s) first, but can then use a comparison site to see if you can get a better deal :)

Don't forget to to get yourself a good deal in the rental property too ;)
