Extractor Fan bulb went pop - now nothing works - Advice please

Hi,
We have an Electrolux Extraction Unit above the hob Model EFC60001x.
The bulb blew yesterday. Took it out and it had. I replaced with a new one but the light nor the extraction fan will work?
Been doing some research and I've seen it mentioned that it may just be a case of replacing the fuse. To be honest I don't have a clue where to find this?
What we have is a mains switch box with Cooker switch (that's all ok as cooker still works)
We also have a white panel behind the cooker with 3 switches on fridge, cooker hob and dishwasher and next to that is a single white panel for fuse it appears.
Any idea where to start? Is the fuse behind the hob switch, within the white single plate or somewhere else.
Any ideas you knowledgable lot?

The fuse (or plug even) is likely to be behind the cooker hood chimney - you can normally take these down by unscrewing the 2 screws on each side at the top.
Oh - just reread - it might be that the mystery switch (next to the 3 marked, fridge etc) could be it
Make sure you replace with 3 or 5 A fuse NOT 13A0 -
Many thanks for this. I bought some fuses today but am thinking of waiting until my dad visits us on Saturday before opening the single fuse plate on the wall.
To be honest I don't even know if I have to turn the mains electric off to change it or not - yes I am dumb!!
Edit - ths is the plate I'm taking about - apparently a fused spur

Not sure what amp though the one I have is - probably 3 or 5 according to fluffpot
Only thing is there is only one, yet 3 switches which I'm slightly confused about0 -
it may be that the switches are for hob and hood or even something else. Can you post a pic of them as it might help?
You don't need to take the fused spur off the wall. Just switch off at fuse board, and use a flat screwdriver in the slot of the fuse holder to lever it out. Be careful though as cheap ones break quite easily - use the biggest screwdriver you have that will fit and be gentle.....0 -
Leave it, you don't have a clue what you are doing, so don't get into it.
You can survive without the extractor for a few days but not long across 240volts.
Not being offensive but don't touch what you don't understand, it's why I keep clear of women.;);)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Oh dear cyclone.... you need to be careful what you say on here - some of the posters who you ask advice from about electrics might just happen to be female....like me
I've advised the OP to switch off at the fuse board, so not likely they'll be anywhere near 230V when they change the fuse, eh?
Now be gone you old wind bag...0 -

I think cyclone was implying that he doesn't understand women not that all women don't understand electrics.
OP does clearly state that she doesn't have a clue so I don't think cyclone was being rude.0 -

You're too tetchy dear, it wasn't a dig at women at all, simply about naivety in dealing with electrics, since the op doesn't even know where to isolate the appliance your advice is not sufficient.
And that's why I don't understand women:AI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

I have the same cooker hood and the same problem. Did you fix it Rebel?
I have a panel of switches (washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker hood etc) but I don't have a blank fuse panel box like on the link above anywhere in the kitchen so have no idea where the fuse isNo idea what to do!!
