Popped into Tesco today - picked up a twin pack marked down to £5.55 from £6.55 but when I got it scanned it didn't go through as £1. It was different cheese - one mature and one extra mature. I did manage to find four packets of the double packs of extra mature but there didn't seem to be a space for them - they had been placed in with the others. Someone told me they managed to pick up four packs in another Tesco, but it looks as though it's running out now.0

This is no bull .... Just been into my Local Ts in Caterham The cheese is still £1 b/c 9733 The shelf price is £1 for twin pack and £3 for single pack a member of staff was filling up the shelf with it she had 4 large boxes on a trolly other staff were taking away 1 pack each I asked what was going on and was told that Cathedral city had imputted the wrong bar code to the product and tescos could not change it hence £1. and staff members were being allowed to purchase I pack each. and the rest for shoppers0

I Just went to buy some, but as it was my lunch hour I had to risk going throught tills...all went ok until the "trout" serving me said she couldnt sell it at that price and called a manager over. The manager said if it was going through at that price they would sell it to me and the sales assistant refused!!!!! She told the manaer to go and check the price, he did and came back and said he couldn't sell it to me? Then they said that the securiy would stop anyone at the doors for buying too much cheese? I have since looked on the Daily Mail online and they have reported that a Tesco spokeman have said its not a glitch just a bargain?? I am going to call head office was so embarressed. What does anyone think?
I think you should call them and complain about the service, but they do not have to sell you the cheese.Sealed pot challange no: 3390

I order some as soon as I saw the offer in the email on Wednesday from T.com. It was substituted for 2 single blocks per unit so worked out well. 0 0

Stuck 5 packs on a Tesco order I was doing anyway last Mon, delivered Tues and the £1 double packs had been substituted for £5.55 double packs with one mature and one extra mature block in each.
Delighted with that, gave one to my Nana, one to a mate and kept the other three as the use by is Jan and we go through a fair bit, also made some fish pie filling for the freezer.
