Gas Electric Price drop catch?

Hi
Just had my quarterly fuel bills (changed to Atlantic using money tip link last year :beer: )
Leaflet with bill says Gas prices go down from 1st March 07, electric from 1st April;
But my gas bill is up to 30th March at old rate so phoned to query....
Was advised that price decrease takes effect from next quarter, apparently everyone's quarter is different - is this so?
Everywhere I've lived my quarters have ended December, March, June & September. Am I being fobbed off?

There is no small print on their leaflets to say price decrease is delayed to your next bill - Are they breaking any laws?

Was thinking of emailing their complaints section but thought I'd get other opinions first please ....

    Hi

    if there was a price reduction on the 1st march ...then you should have a month at the new rate...if they continue..check the small print or ask to speak to complaints department...they are telling u porkeys..
    Hey folks...remember I might work for the company but I am a human and working in my own time, I will not responde to people who are rude, sarcy and crits me. My views and comments do not reflect British Gas and they are totally unreasponsable for my responses.

    Thanks :T
    Atlantic's leaflets don't contain any small print to say new rate effective from next bill, but their website does say new charge applies from next bill. Fine for us lucky ones with internet access. Think I'l be emailing their complaints department out of principle if nothing else!
