Yes unemployment has dropped, but it's still a lot higher than what it was a few years back! It's dropped a tiny amount in comparison. Now if it fell to about 2 million then that's significant.

This is just the start, at least it's going in the right direction.

These so called figures are in fact FICTION, example on tv is was noted just last month that there where 3million 18-24years old on the benefits, forgetting about all the 25-70years olds, those on so called Work programs, disabled, etc, every year when they announce these figures I laugh,
dont believe in anything the government tells you, you're better off reading harry potter, if you want to know the truth.
I think they pull these figures from their backsides, just think in the past months how many stories on tv have you heard about businesses closing down and 5,000+ workers being made redundant, off the top of my head 3 just on south today.
if you want the real figure try and work it out for yourself just multiply by 3 what the government tells you.
true figure is closer to 9million, but then if you believe the government there are only 60million people in the whole of the UK if you believe cameron, what he told david letterman on his tv show back in 26/09/2012. But then he also stated that in 2 years they had created 1million job in the private sector.

Note if you want to see the david letterman show its dated 26/09/2012 i'm reupping the video onto mirrorcreator so just let me know if you want the link., about 17minutes in when he actally see cameron. took me about 10minutes to type in th quote due to the accents.and trying to get it word perfect.
Quote Cameron from the david letterman show "Theres a bright spot which is we've actually seen in the last 2 years a million new jobs which in a country of 60million is a million net new jobs in the private sector in the last couple of years."

Then asked by letterman "what conditions have you helped create the causes million new jobs, how do you get a million jobs.

reply by cameron "what we tried to do is just make it a very business friendly government, make it easier to start a business, make it easier to employ people, try to attract businesses into the UK, we've using the olympics shamelessly to say this is a great place to come and work, to come live, to come and invest, so we've been a business friendly government to cut some business taxes" then got cut off by letterman who asked another question about the olympics.

Ha, that's a laugh. It certainly hasn't fallen here on Merseyside, where there are HUNDREDS chasing each job vacancy. I HATE the hole. I want to get out.
