Does anyone know of any freeware, that will allow me to open .edrw files (it is probably a .drw file, but the extension has .edrw), and be able to see the dimensions. I have the free version of Solidworks eDrawings, but can only get the dimensions if the file is .dxf.

Thanks, but that's what I've already got, and unless I buy the professional version, there are no dimensions.

I don't suppose Google Sketchup does? I've not tried, but might be worth a shot as it's free...

the free viewer should allow you to see what is in the file, are you taking someone elses drawings and trying to size them or have they noted dimensions on that you cant see?
if you are just trying to dimension the model yourself, you will have to get the full version of the software i think

The dimensions are apparently on the drawing, it's just that we can't see them. I need to convert from a dwr to a dxf file.
