How to get my credit card numbers

Hi guys,i don't know if this has been covered on here before so here goes.I'm considering seeing if i can reclaim any card charges but cancelled my cards about 4 years ago(did the old consolidate and pay off as got myself in a bit of a pickle).I cut the cards up and a few years later got rid of all paperwork so i don't have any of my account numbers.Does anyone know what information i would require when i ring the companies to allow them to release my numbers to me.Thanks in advance.Oh yeah forgot to mention have checked my credit report but they're not on there.

If you can remember who the companies were, just write and ask

Was in a similar boat myself. I can remember all the !!!!!! they put me through when I got into difficulties. Only John Lewis were sympathetic to my plight.

Every penny I get back now, I class as payback for all that crap
