Which is better ... large or small bubblewrap

I sell on eBay and have bought quite a few rolls of bubblewrap over the past few months. I have usually opted for 100m of 500mm rolls with small bubbles. At about £10 per roll including delivery, this seems a good deal.
However, I am wondering whether it is worth trying out the wrap with the large bubbles.
I sell a variety of objects, from small to medium.
The large bubbled wrap is more expensive, but I would probably use less.
What do other ebayers use .... large or small
thank you !!

I find that the large bubbles actually provide protection. The small bubble type is good for wrapping small items or to stop things scraping against each other. I reckon you'd need to wrap the small stuff round an item at least twice to get the same effect as the big bubble variety.0

I always use the small bubbles, like you I buy small hay bales of the stuff - but I do have to wrap it round twice so perhaps I should give the big ones a go!0

I use small bubble wrap in the main, however, for large items I have, in the past, used small bubble and then a layer of large bubble too.
If a couple of bubbles of small bubble wrap burst (and you have a couple of layers on, it still affords more protection than if you just use large bubble and one of the bubbles burstsGE 36 *MFD may 2043

I use a mixture of both in my boxes. Small bubbles first to protect the item, big bubbles to stop it moving inside the box at all, then a good solid box.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I only sell occasionally, but use both. As a buyer I have accumulated quite a hoard.
Providing you are careful to factor the correct cost into the p&p charges, and the buyer is happy to pay them, I personally dont think you can be too careful.0 -
I find you need more layers of small bubble, so I buy large bubble as a cost saving exercise0

It depends entirely on what you're selling. For instance, if it's heavy, bubblewrap will be of little use, as momentum alone would allow the item to move when dropped.
I rarely use bubblewrap at all now, just as a filler in boxes if I have no polychips.
I use corrugated cardboard as my immediate wrapping. I sell glassware, and now RM charge the same rate for packets up to 750g, often I just keep wrapping until I can no longer feel the item inside.Exclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. Should OF, would OF. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.0
