Support families with disabled kids
in Charities
Hey folks,
The disability charity Scope is running a new campaign called Keep Us Close, to make sure the Government provides good local services for disabled children and their families.
At the moment lots of families can't get the right support they need (school, respite care, childcare etc) in their local area and sometimes have to travel great distances or send their kids away. This puts a great deal of strain on families, both financially and emotionally.
With a new Children and Families Bill going through Parliament in a few months, it's a really good time to ask the Government to make the changes families so desperately need.
Please have a look at the campaign via the front page of the Scope website or just Google Keep Us Close and take the action to help keep families together (I'm not allowed to post links yet!).
