Active Desktop

Looks like I have activated this by mistake somehow...i dont like the look of it with all my desktop icons highlighted!

how do you turn it off?

p.s. Am using XP Home

Right click anywhere empty on the desktop and choose the active desktop you like.

You should be able to change the desktop settings by right clciking an empty area then choosing properties, this allows you to select the desktop layout, colours, background etc
