Difficult to estimating winter gas bill now got woodburner

We've had a woodburning stove installed so it's impossible for me to estimate how much gas we might use this year. We're currently with nPower. I did a comparison before installing the woodburner and with the tariff we were on there was really no difference had we swapped back then. We'll now be using a lot less gas but I'm concerned because it seems par for the course that gas providers seem to topload the first batch of units used. We'll probably now be paying top wack as the units we use will mainly be at a more expensive rate so I'm at a loss to know how to go about any comparison . All suggestions gratefully received.
I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!

If you genuinely think burning the odd log or two will reduce your gas consumption to a level that means you will not exceed the higher priced tier 1 units, then could I suggest you look at Ebico - always a very competitive gas supplier for low consumers :)

(They don't have 2 tier pricing, nor apply daily standing charges)

Thanks Wywth, It's most likely to be wishful thinking but that's good to know...BTW logs are costing a fortune :(
