Why Am I Using So Much?

Update:

66406.3 this morning, which means a use of 12.4 for the day.
Something I would probably be happy with if it was my average! (which is 6 units more currently).

Heating/Cooking thoughts:
Gas/Combi boiler for most heating. Small fan heater for the rare occasion I am in the loft (and its cold!) and the mentioned 2000w convector for the times I just want to heat 1 room and not the house.
Gas hob. Electric oven, microwave, slow cooker covers the cooking.

List of things not off during the day:
Fridge
Combi Boiler (not that it uses much electric!)
Clock in Kitchen.
2 Phones
TV, BR, WII, SKY Box all on standby (and I have measured these and am not concerned by the usage as it is very very low)
Timer plug for outside light.

Yesterdays usage was reasonable, but that means I must have some very high days somewhere! I shall see what the weekend brings!

Lighting can really add up. I had 8 50w gu10 lamp in the kitchen that was swallowing 250w an hour. Swapped them for 4w led. Depends on the Tv type as wll as Plasma are quite power hungry.


Tumble drier and showeres and cookers are the big users.

In the end I bought an OWL intuition and monitor my usage from that
