Cashback allocation on Halifax One credit card?

Does anyone the breakdown on cashback for the Halifax One cashback credit card? I don’t think they issue it anymore and I can’t find the % paid for each type of purchase anywhere online. I’m currently averaging 1.3% cashback on a spend of about £20,000 per year and I’m looking at alternatives but can’t see that any of the current cashback offerings are much better, particularly after the introductory offers expire. Amex Platinum is the only one worth doing but this won’t always be accepted so that negates the benefit

    How old is the account?

Halifax had a plethora of these cards 4 years ago (4 separate deals IIRC). The first one was 2% on groceries and fuel with 0.5% on everything else. The latter 3 were simply 'variations on a theme'.

Google throws up a few threads on this site*, but your T&Cs (when you find them) will throw up more info. ;)

It was opened in Oct 2008 - so exactly 4 years ago :) I think it may be 2% on groceries and fuel and 0.5% on everything else but couldn't find any info on their website and although I scan all of my statements, and usually scan the T&Cs too, I can't find them. It's a shame they don't show the cashback reward against each item on the statement. They must have this information in order to calculate the monthly total.

I've no complaints about the £1,000+ cashback I've picked up so far, just checking out the competition and considering a switch.

I'm trying a year on an Amex Gold but I can't see this being much good after the first year fee free and intro offers all expire
