Shame you're pooped, have a cuppa , put your feet up.
I keep reading the OR's letter to make sure I haven't missed anything in the small print. Never thought I could ever get so excited about a car, but it makes such a difference to mine and the kids lives. So yeah...I'm still elated!0 -

No not really dither i was suprised how easy its all been really ,i had a great OR and no problems with bank accounts etc, i think the run up to making the choice to go bankrupt was far more of a stressful time .Official DFW NERD 189

Hi all
Have been lurking in the background for some time, usual story DEBT
Im at my witts end, here is my situation:
Have a number of credit cards and loans totaling 32000, trouble is my partner knows i have a couple of credit cards , but i have told her i only owe aroud 8000.
Iknow its wrong to lie about it but if she knew how much that would be it between us and she will take my daughter away.
I have managed to keep it from her so far but now things are getting really sticky with repayments ect, currently have 1.13 in my bank account and i dont get paid until the 28th.
I really dont know what to do, i have contacted payplan and they were really helpfull, but if i went with them could all this be kept secret from my partner,we are not married and we dont have any joint bills ect so im not sure if my credit file will effect hers.
Could really do with some help, am really at the lowest point in my life and have no idea where to turn.
Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.0 -
That's reassuring, only a month in for me so I still feel at the mercy of the OR. But like you say, not as stressful as pre BR.
My hubby currently trying to sort out my less than co-operative washing machine...must go check he hasn't hit it with the sledge hammer yet.0 -
Hi wurzel,
Are you able to post this as a thread on the main bankruptcy board...you'll get loads more help that way.

For ANYBODY who doubts that s_s is anything other than a sad old TROLL, just wait for his/her next post. Perhaps there are other words than 'moron' and 'jackasses' in his/her limited vocabulary.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
