    I'm on Day 18, I think.:confused::confused: I stopped on Tues 6th May at 2:00pm ish.

    I'd love to light up and have a smoke but not difficult now to ignore the cravings.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    I'm on day 4 :o but as i've been on day 4 about 6 times this year alone, i don't hold out much hope of making it too much further:rolleyes:

    No drink for me either:cry: it just weakens me even more.
    The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

    Hi Bltn,

    I didn't know you'd quit. That Thread on DFW is really good; there's something about laying your cards on the table in public, albeit a virtual public, that makes it so much more difficult to lose your resolve.

    I think I've tried to stop a similar number of times in the last six months but I've never got this far, and I do feel significantly better for it. I didn't drink for a couple of days at the beginning because I knew that would weaken my resolve.

    Yes, I've even surprised myself.:rolleyes::rolleyes: It's definitely made a difference posting on the Stop Smoking Thread on DFW and many thanks for pointing me in that direction.:beer:

    Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(

    So you want me to go in front of a load of strangers and admit my faults and failings:eek: like thats ever going to happen;) :rotfl:

    I'll stick with my incentive. Mums promised to buy me new clothes if i stay stopped. I can't help wondering though, at what point am i 'stayed stop' ?
    She could take me on a shopping spree next month and the next day i could start smoking again.

    Arhh i think i've got what she's upto..i'll feel very guilty if i do thatand she knows it. :o
