Re: the social, its horrid. My ex hubby did that to me, just out of vengence. They came to see me and took one look at me, DD and the home and said, theres no problem here, then walked out never to be seen or heard from again. I know how awful it feels, and theres nothing on this earth worse than anyone even suggesting your not doing your parenting job properly. The fact that it was a letter an dnot a 'rush in and grab the kids, means they aren't taking it too seriously. Its an awful feeling to think someone narrow minded ar!! with nothing better to do has done this.

Re: the party, i remember them well!! too well. One year i offered DD the chance of a party or to go to a restaurant of her choice for whatever she wanted, she chose the restaurant and it worked a treat and after that we did the same every year. Thankfully DD had great taste and picked nice, but not pricey places, with a bit of class.

Can you not apply for a crisis loan to get you by for the time being?

You've got so much on your plate at the moment, try and take some time out for yourself.
If your not functioning on all cylinders then things will seem to get worse.

It breaks my heart to read of someone going through such an awful time.
I truly wish you all the best and hope things turn out well for you soon xx

Mil is doing well. She climbed the stairs today :T . Just waitng for the chemo now.

Have been to friends funeral and am feeling pretty tired and drained now.

Could really do with a dram of something now.

Very unusual for the guys to forgo free beer.... I bet they turn up later.
