As for tastes of Scotland`s finest, did you get square sausage and mealy pudding?????? You tend to find your taste spoiled if you eat those two together....heart attack on a plate.:rotfl:

we must be the only house in the civilised world that did not get a pack of them frero thingies..............maybe I didn`t spoil the ambassador enough at lunch last week:rotfl:


You can have the salad tray but not much left ....couple of toms, bit of cucumber, apple, peppers and oooooh look, an ugli fruit!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:


However if you find a drink that has turkey as a garnish we are well away here.
Have just started carving the 2nd breast for supper............

We didn't get any Ferraro Roche in this house this year. Got 2 humungous bars of Toblerone though *drooooooool!*

I got NO chocolate this year, only sensible 'bankrupt' type stuff that will be really useful to me........can't wait to try on my bridget jones knickers:rolleyes:

Ahhhh......we got toblerone by the lorryload including a selection box which survived til just after 10 o clock I think it was.....


Maybe toblerone is the new ferero thingy...........I`d like to think we are setting a trend hereTF

Best thing we got was first prize in a raffle which was a humungus great hamper from Waitrose with all sorts of goodies in it......and here`s the best bit..I only bought one ticket and it was the last one they sold.......talk about your luck changing......

All this talk of food is making me peckish so I`m off for a bite and a drinkie...
