Debt heroes......................... Nah. Don't tell me. It would spoil the strange mental images that brings up. :rotfl:

Well done within the car insurance. That's a sizeable bit to save, and the the £50 as well.:T

I think once you've got to 4 stars you are stuck here of your own free will. (beyond hope :o).

Am now intrigued at the mental image....

Am now intrigued at the mental image....

Brought up an image of those old war films. "kelly's heroes" or something like that.

I just imagined an intrepid team of "debt councillors" armed to the teeth storming the head quarters of Mackenzie Hall/Crapquest/Lowells etc. etc. in order to "right some wrongs".

    :o:o

Odd what pops into your head.......

  • Good evening guys & gals

Thought I'd say hi. I'm drinking my secret santa present - a bottle of Pinot Grigio - at the mo but I'm only half way down it and I opened it at 8 o'clock! Very restrained methinks. A week ago it would be gone by now and I would have rung Pizza Zone to order a portion of fries and 8 cans of Stella...

    How are you all tonight?

  • Hi Squirrel..how am i..well wishing i had a secret santa that delivered booze at the moment.
Its sods law that when your skint you really could do with 20 fags and a bottle of something stronger than orange squash:mad:
Off to parents at the weekend and they always have a good supply of booze, so shall drink them dry, then leave:D
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
  • I'm gonna be drinking next week. Am off up to Darlo with DD for Xmas and with a house full of highly strung women and a token man (my step-dad who usually resorts to drinking Whisky straight from the bottle at these times - how he puts up with us I don't know. Life in the army eating hedgehog must have been better) I will be surprised if I survive!

That conjures up so many wonderful images. Sounds like you will have a wonderful time.

  • I was talking to a client today and we got nattering about Xmas (I'm a bit of a talker and I tend to build up a rapport with clients really early on). I mentioned about my Mum throwing a strop and going for a drive for a couple of hours before dinner a couple of years ago and he couldn't stop laughing. Nice to know I brighten people's lives....

My step-dad was in BlackWatch and went on exercises where he had to 'live off the land' for days. He has caught, killed and eaten hedgehog, squirrel and badger....
