Birmingham Airport Short Stay Parking?

For the last 2 hours I have been trying to find information on short term parking at Birmingham international airport.

All other airports are fairly clear with their pricing, 15 minutes free + £3 for every half hour. Very simple!

However I simply can not find infomation at all for Birmingham. Stupendous prices like £79.99 are constantly popping up even though I select 1 hour!

Any ideas?

Something stupid like £10 for half an hour. Or was that for an hour?

Unless its changed..

£1 for upto 10 minutes.

£2 for upto 20 minutes.

£7 for upto 30 minutes.

Then an extra £5 for every 15 minutes.

You dont want to be hanging around waiting for a flight to land.

Might cost more than the holiday.

If you are picking someone up park away from the airport and have them phone you when they are ready to be picked up.

the pick up/drop off point charges you for a simple stop, get out, and go, so be really careful. A friend of mine dropped me there a few weeks back, and to avoid her picking up a charge she dropped me where the road splits (it was 6.30am and very quiet) and she avoided having to go through the barrier. My parents are landing there soon and have suggested I pick them up from the International Train Station as they can catch the monorail thing to that for free...

It wasn't difficult to find, although the link was slightly hidden away on the parking page. The airport says to use the short and medium stay car parks for picking up arrivals.

I too have parked just down the road from the airport when picking people up, they phone when they're in the car park and I drive straight in. My Dad was there recently and he said that the security are on you really fast if you try to drop/pick up outside of the carpark
