You will continue to benefit from a discount of 8.7% on our standard monthly Direct Debit prices (as at 27th February 2012)
Could be read as
as at 27th February 2012, You will continue to benefit from a discount of 8.7% on our standard monthly Direct Debit prices
or
You will continue to benefit from a discount of 8.7% on our standard monthly Direct Debit 27th February 2012 prices.
i.e. there's an ambiguity there. To resolve the ambiguity, you could either ask a help centre person and risk getting an ambiguous reply, or refer to the legal terms and conditions of the tariff.
Note, the T&Cs don't even allow a discount of greater than 8.7%. It is always, according to the T&Cs spot on 8.7%, and if ever it isn't, then the supplier is breaching the agreement. (But just because they are obliged to put the price up along with the standard tariff doesn't mean they actually will - I doubt any complaints would arise if, for some reason, they didn't)0
