  • Thanks to all for the replies and views - the detective work was done by my niece and nephews - aged 17, 15 and 11 - the photo was taken by their dad. Little money saving experts at their age! I'm very proud!:T
If anyone wants to forward the photo - please do so - it is copyright free - I checked with my brother - they would like it to go viral - so please send it to everyone you know!

Really liking the idea of the tins nesting - just don't tell the manufacturers - they would use that as an excuse!!icon10.gif

On the plus side, you can nest the tins so make for easy storage ;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
If you want to keep the 2012 tin along with the rest it'd be a good idea to keep it nested inside another tin as this year's one seems extra thin and flimsy and dents very easily......Maybe Nestle has done this on purpose so there'll be no surviving evidence in years to come?! :)

OMH I cant believe how much these have shrunk in the past 8 years!

The thing that annoys me is people still end up buying the same. At home 10 years ago we got 1 big tin, now I get 2 which is really the same weight as a tin was 10 years ago.

Yes, I remember them being a lot more expensive.

They still work out good value though when you compare them to buying the boxes.

The Co-op had them at two for £9.00 a couple of weeks ago, so that is still cheaper even though they are smaller per tin.
