Laminate laying room to room

I would like to lay some quickstep laminate downstairs in 3 maybe 4 rooms. Am I ok to separate just 1 room with a t bar and have the rest flow seamlessly from room to room?
I will leave a big expansion gap around the edges as we need new skirting.
I prefer the flowing look anc I will cut the door jams to slide it underneath. It should be able to expand and contract.
Thanks

Laid laminate only a few times but seems that there is always a problem area where depending on how you orientate boards you can end up with a really awkward set of cuts eg. Cutting a board length ways an inch strip.
To avoid this you choose your start point with care.
But if you plan to go from room to room you will never work it out, somewhere will end up being v awkward.
But hey I am a distinct amateur.0 -
as your replacing the skirting remove it and then lay the flooring then your new skirting can float on the flooring
have joints at each door it will make life easy to lay as every time you go through a door way you will have to try and lay backwards on one side plus cuts and fitting will be a nightmare
also not sure what would happen with expansion between different rooms nothing is worse than having to redo work0 -
Did just that between kitchen and lounge, looked great , but................
Washing leaked badly, laminate swelled in kitchen couldn't match it so had to replace, which meant i had to put a door bar between and refit most of lounge.
If i was to do it again i would use door bars and separate the rooms, then at least if anything gets damaged only the room with the damage has to be done.0
