NPower v Heatteam - Baxi Central Heating Cover

I'm looking at NPower's Central Heating Cover which costs £15 a month for the first year. It covers the boiler and the rest of the central heating system. Here is a link to the product I'm considering:

I currently have Heatteam and they charge £18.25 a month and that covers just the Baxi boiler. Though they are supposedly Baxi specialists. I'm not overly keen on them because I've had to have them out on more than a couple of occasions close together for the same fault. Also their service number is an 0844 number which in itself would be ok if I wasn't on hold on it for 20 minutes every time I need to call them.
Does anyone have any comments about their own experience with either Heatteam service or NPowers service please?

i don't have any experience of n power but i would imagine they are similar to BG or Corgi whereas heatteam are the baxi service agents not just specialists so they should carry replacements parts on the vanI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Yes the Heatteam guy went to great lengths to tell me that as they were Baxi agents that they carry the spares on the van. So I guess that is a distinct advantage.southcoastrgi wrote: »i don't have any experience of n power but i would imagine they are similar to BG or Corgi whereas heatteam are the baxi service agents not just specialists so they should carry replacements parts on the van0 -
Heat Team every time.
I think you may be able to book a service visit via their website as well?0 -

Thanks for that. I'd seen that page and I thought it was for adhoc servicing whereas I have a service contract with them. On that form there does not seem to be a provision to enter a "service contract" number. So I thought that form was for pay as you go type requests?0 -
hmmm, you could be right!0
