Not only that, they can't fine the driver/keeper either. :D

There's a thread here somewhere with the email address for reporting such signs to Martin Cutts if he is still collecting these pics - you'd need to tell him which PPC wastes people's time and money at that site.

Or you could report the PPC direct to the BPA (if members) and the DVLA (who will take action as this is a breach of the BPA Code of Practice and a misleading commercial practice). PPCs are not allowed to use that word - and that's an expensive-looking pillar sign to replace! :rotfl:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Based on the link below it was CMS UK Ltd. Don't know who is responsible for it now.

Not been ticketed there, just saw the sign and thought hmmmm, MSE-ers would have a field day - lol!

It could just be an empty threat, if its followed up why bother with the BPA/AOS/DVLA when quite a few people will pay up as soon as they get a yellow ticket regardless of how enforcable or not the thing may be, easy money no effort.

  • EMPTY?? It's got something, I think it's hot air.

This is very serious. Too many people take formal note of this illicit threat, it has to be stopped. Sod their upmarket board, they should be made to publicly take it down in shame and clean it up in front of cameras.
