right...heres the story so far. The home page for sainsburys shows a 25% off wine etc if you order more than 6. Its the first of the sliding offers and its valid until 28th October. IM a new customer so im going to use a mix of the "new customer £10 off voucher code", "25% off 6" and the "already discounted champagne price".
I followed the procedure in Martins e-mail and sure enough everything works fine. Simply take these steps:
1. Order the Antoine De Clevecy Champagne 75cl at the already reduced price of £12 a bottle but order a minimum of 6. (normal price for this champers in £22 a bottle).
2. You will see the FULL £22 price initially but dont worry - it changes before you pay.
3. Link to the £10 off voucher for new shoppers and write it down. Mine was PUKL-X7QR-3MPH but I think they are generated indiviudally.
4. Go to check out.
5. Register as a new customer if you havnt already.
6. Click on "book a delivery slot" and select one.
7. NOW add the voucher code you wrote down.
8. Check tyour order summary. Copy of mine is below:
Order summary
Items in your trolley £216.00
Delivery cost £4.95
Voucher savings - £10.00
Total cost: £210.95
9. Complete the order at the value stated by paying up.
The extra 25% off 6 bottles or more (If Martins update works) will be deducted and then the correct amount will be taken from the bank and also shown on the receipt when its delivered.
Ive ordered 18 bottles in a stock up for Christmas and the price if this works (inclusive if delivery and discounts etc) will be £158.21 (equiv of £8.79 per bottle) ! WINNER!!
Ill update this post Friday when my delivery arrives and if it works ill be one bottle less for Christmas ! :T0 -
Not valid in Scotland....why?0

Entered the voucher code found online 10 minutes ago, only to receive message: SORRY, THIS VOUCHER CODE HAS EXPIRED, REFER TO TERMS & CONDITIONS ....0

I've just done this with the Sainsbury's Blancs de Blancs champagne (which is really, a seriously good bubbly)...it was 1/3 off so £14.99 to start with. Then applied the £10 off voucher which worked fine for me about 10 mins ago. Now awaiting the final 25% off to be applied which will hopefully show up at delivery.0

so you could get Antonie de Clevecy for £8 approx a bottle, but in theory it applies to all the other champagne brands included in the offer too eg Lanson? So - the per bottle price for 6 will be greatly reduced as you get the £10 off your first order, then 25% off any 6 and a further discount will be added when you check out?
have I got this correct?
and is it limited 6 only or could you buy 12 at once?
first time I'm dones this so want to get all facts right before I commit at checkout!!0 -
See tazzer8

It should apply not only to all champagnes but also to any wines - the offer says 25% off all wine and champagne when you buy 6. So you could buy 6 different bottles if you wanted and still get the reduction.
I think Martin just highlighted the Antoine de Clevecy one because it works out as the cheapest.0 -
ok think I've done something wrong. purchased x12 Antoine bottles at £11 each. plus £3.95 delivery. Minus £10 as new customer - total at checkout £134. That's £11.16 a bottle. No sign of the 25% discount?? so when/how does that get applied? bit worreid I've lost that now!0
