Back to UK then on to scruffy Goa at a guess.

Goa would make me miserable as well.

I'm sure we'll spend some time on the beaches, it's too cold 'up North' for me by the time we're there this time although after reading Mr.Wang's blog I would like to go up North and in particular back to the rock garden again.
So I guess it's the South, Kerala and the TN south of Chennai
plus Goa scruffy as it is. I don't do less than 28c in the winter.

LOL Bob, buy some wellies, a barbour jacket, a wooly jumper and some plus 4's (DO NOT PACK FLIPFLOPS) plan long solitary walks that end in a pub with a roaring log fire and a roast dinner, borrow a labrador. Once in pub sit in the corner with the times crossword and quaff some real ale, and only talk to or through the dog, problem solved.

At last a sensible suggestion, although if it is Sunderland will the dog understand the accent?

I live 10 miles from Sunderland (far too close for comfort) and I cannot understand 'Mackem speak' either!

Neith do I but would not go to the cess pit of Winter holiday destinations again to risk life and limb there - plenty of nicer hot places to spend the Winter.
