Identitag here. Not a bad price, fab quality and last a lifetime. I used a different company once and the info got rubbed off over time, rendering it useless. Identitag have lasted years and only been replaced when I changed address

...I've just seen the ones that slot along the collar too and am now considering that, as then it wouldn't hear him jingling it when he gets up to shake in the night! Not sure if it would be uncomfortable though

Works just fine on my GSD.

I have the slot on one from identitag. Perfect as doesn't get caught and much much much easier to get on than those annoying ring things!

Identitag got my address wrong haha but sent another (correct one) free of charge and it was quick too :)

So now both dogs have identitags and both are called Isis :p My elderly Bichon is highly unlikely to get lost and the only thing that was wrong was my address is ...Close not ...Crescent.

So person would probably still be able to find it as postcode and number are correct :)

Oh, and a good tip I heard - buy a cheap keyring and use the o-ring from that instead of the one supplied with the tag. Normally thicker/tougher so less likely to get caught and rip off.

That's what I did, he's called Guinness, so I bought a metal Guinness keyring and stamped my mobile and the landline in the back
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

A heap big thank you to everyone who posts the comps, your all stars!

And the rings on identitag are solid, no need to change them - not those flimsy ones...

    But surely cheaper ;)

A lot cheaper :( but as it's still going strong 13 years on I can't complain.
  • Pets at home sell them as well..for anyone who doesn't have time to wait for one to be delivered. They either have a large machine where you do them yourself or one at the till, only takes 3/4 minutes and starts from £5.99 to £8.99.. They have quite a good selection as well..The only bad thing with the smaller ones if you have too much writing it comes harder to read as the lettering gets smaller.

I have got mine from Ebay in the past and I was going to say pets at home, although I've never used the machines there.
