I have been for some time wanting to back up my hotmail account. I even asked how to do it in this forum but unfortunately the suggestions offered did not work. I finally found an application: Mailstore, which seems quite straight forward to use, but it tells me it can only archive mi inbox, unless I "request IMAP access from my provider".... anybody knows how to do this? TIA!

Plenty of results if you google hotmail IMAP, hopefully you can find the answer in at least one of them.0

Thanks, of course I already Googled that --always do before asking-- and found quite complicated lectures on the subject which I did not understand.0
