I believe £2 a day is balances of £2000 or more overdrafts under £2000 are charged a £1 a day 365 days a year though so its a good idea to shift debt to a credit card.
Why not go in branch and see if theres anything they can do offer to help.0

to avoid confusion, note that there is no such thing as 'debit card' debt or 'debit card borrowing'
when you use a debit card you are simply paying from your current account... the debit card is simply the electronic way of identifying your current a/c
Same difference though really ain't it....I mean its money that I've spent that isn't really mine & now I got to pay it back (borrowing). I know debit cards don't work in the same way as credit cards but if banks are willing to float you an overdraft on a student current account it just seems odd that they don't then let you 'evolve' that debt once you start earning. God knows they've been trying to force feed me credit cards ever since I got a job so why not let me transfer the deficit - either way the would retain my custom & earn interest off of my repayments?!0

 maybe and maybe not
but it would explain why you never see a facility to do a transfer between a debit card and a credit card where as you do sometimes see the facility to do a BT between a credit card and a bank a/c.0
