With a seemingly endless stream of colds, flu, fatigue symptoms, even measles (as a mid-30s adult) whilst staying in a city flat, all these disappeared with a change of locale to a detached house out of the city.
I was delighted to move into a large 3 bed house from a tiny 1 bed flat. It was larger than most 3 beds with a huge lounge.
However, the lounge was very dark (windows too small) and I was surrounded by tower blocks (lived in London).
I've never felt anywhere else like I did in that house. I felt like I was in prison (it was a shared ownership house, built on the edge of a really bad estate).
I was nieve, didn't realise how much a place needs to be light for me, and that I don't like feeling 'penned in'. I learned a lot from the experience though and it'll never be repeated.
