Don't go for the cheapest, go for the best you can afford. Cheap carpets are horrible!0

They are indeed horrid. If you DO go with carpet right etc, they'll smash you with the bars and underlay prices!
I found the best product was found in a local carpet shop. THey also have proper knowledge than some general salesmen.0 -
Stop!
At £9.99 sq/m, you will not be getting a good quality carpet.
Try your local independent carpet shop. They will give you the best advice and when quoting for the whole job (underlay, bars, fitting), will be much cheaper than Carpetright.
If your budget can stretch to a wool carpet, they will normally look better for longer. Man-made carpets are easy to clean, but can flatten early in their life.
Hope this helps.0
