Anyone know where to find decent CV templates?!

I don't mean templates for content, just good formatting etc.

And no, MS Words efforts don't really come up to scratch! :)

  • there are far too many good sites out there to mention any specific ones. my best advise is go to google and search:

"how to write a cv" university

copy/paste the above into google, make sure you search in the uk as it is more relevant.

Thanks for that, but I don't want to know HOW to write one. I'm looking for some CV templates, in terms of formatting, not content.

Try OpenOffice, a free download(though is pretty large..approx 65mb) from:

    http://www.openoffice.org/product/

does practically everything MS Office does and is compatible with MS documents too..and it is FREE!!! not a trial or anything.

If you are a strudent (or just take up an evening course) you can get the student version of Microsoft Office (or at least you could when I bought it). Only thing you don't get is a database.
